We offer Somatic Dance Journey’s on the waning moon cycles to light the fire of transformation, igniting the flame within you and connecting you back to yourselves by being fully IN your body. This movement journey takes you into your body to honour, name, remember and release. It is a journey through emotions, feelings, memories and trauma, we follow your waves through music and you are held in expressing movement and sound.
The journey’s can:
Release stress and energise the body;
Free you from emotional baggage by moving stuck energy;
Transcend the chatter of small mind and bring you into the Presence of Now;
Awaken your heart to self-acceptance and self-love;
Connect you to the Divine Oneness of your true nature and All That Is.
We start with a GROUNDING & OFFERING to bring you into the moment and the theme we will be exploring through intentions - bring your own or flow with ours.
We move through a BODY WARM-UP (approx. 15-20 minutes) – a gentle awakening of the body parts using breath, awareness, movement and music. We start at the soles of the feet and work our way to the crown of the head.
Every part of the body tells a story and in this warm-up we allow fluid movements and rhythmical breath to move stuck energy and to prepare us physically and mentally for the next part of the journey.
We then SHAKE (15 minutes) – this is perhaps the most important stage as it ignites the life-force for the transformative process to begin. Here we allow the body to shake and tremble all over.
With eyes closed and breath deep and relaxed, the shake is based on Osho’s Kundalini Meditation.
It also has its roots in an ancient form of Chi Kung that uses shaking to open blocked energy-meridians. It’s purpose is to shake off stress and tension and to awaken our life-force which is often “sleepy”. The effect is refreshing, energising and balancing.
Then my loves we FREE DANCE through the main journey (approx. 45 mins) – we are ready to go deeper and guided to surrender to the dance. What does this mean?
Stuck physical energy and emotions can surface easily to be safely released;
Relief from everyday worries and the general chatter of the mind;
Clarity of thinking from a higher perspective;
Internal visions, insights and inspirations that can help us move forwards in our lives;
A sense of self-empowerment;
A sense of calm, peace, joy and bliss;
A warm open-hearted state in which you feel connected and whole.
A connection with the Divine/Spirit, a sense of Oneness and Wonder;
An experience of ecstasy and liberation.
When we have moved through this we lie down and are STILL to allow the integration of energies and a deep relaxation. Here we are welcomed by a SOUND BATH to soothe our souls in stillness.
To complete the journey we have our GROUNDING & OPTIONAL SHARE. There is a period of silence in which you can journal or just BE and then a guided visualisation to come back to our everyday lives in a place of peace, clarity and self-love.
At the end we have our OPTIONAL SHARE to be witnessed and honoured in our individual journey’s as we come back to the community of TRIBE.
Classes are kept small for close, intimate experiences so that we may drop fully into our own journey’s of growth and empowerment.

These journey’s are safe spaces to express yourself, a place of non-judgement. There is no need to worry that you are being watched or compared, this is truly a space in which to learn how to move however your body wants to move.
Journey’s are an invitation to see what you would like to wear, this is your dance floor, what do you want to wear on it!? Anything goes from long dresses to work out gear, as long as you are covered you are welcome to wear whatever your heart wants!

Please bring:
A yoga mat if you have one, to lie on and blankets, eye pillows for relaxation. These are provided but you may wish to bring your own.
A bottle of water, which can be refilled.
A journal if that is part of your experience - this is not essential.
